Oh Yeah, I Know How to Pick 'Em

The last few weeks, my football picks have been less-than-stellar. I'd dropped down to 4th place among my co-workers, from a high of 1st place after the first week. This week, I didn't even bother to print off my picks and bring them home with me. It's been too sad keeping track at home of my losses.

So, imagine my surprise this morning when I logged in and saw...I picked 11 of 12 games on Sunday correctly! My only mistake was trusting that my hometeam, the Vikings, wouldn't let me down. I should give Scott some credit...he convinced me that maybe Miami was not the upset I wanted to pick.

One more game tonight: Denver v. Green Bay. I'm going with the Packers right now, but there's still time to change my pick.

In knitting news, here's the details on Dad's Sweater, as well as a picture of the back.

Pattern: Rhapsody in Tweed by Kathy Zimmerman, Interweave Knits Fall 2004
Yarn: Tahki Donegal Tweed in Gray Tweed
Started: February 25, 2007
Finished: October 3, 2007 (didn't much feel like working on it over the summer)

Good for you on your football picks! I never could follow a football game, but (being a displaced native) I'm loving Boston's winning streak...go Patriots, and Red Sox!
