It's All Blarney - Monday in Ireland

We were all up bright and early to head to Blarney Castle and kiss the infamous Blarney Stone.
The climb up the stairs is steep, slippery, and not for the fainthearted.

Then you get to the top and have to lean over backwards while a nice older gentleman hangs on to you so you can kiss the stone.
Yeah. It's kind of different.

I almost didn't do it, but fortunately it was not crowded so I could go back after initially chickening out.
To celebrate, David and I posed for our senior pictures in a castle window.

After a quick lunch, we headed to Midleton to tour the old Jameson Distillery.

Amit and I volunteered to be whiskey tasters and got to sample American, Scotch, and Irish whiskey. The Irish was best of course.

I did not care for the Scotch.
Then we wandered around Midleton. How cute is this town? It's like this everywhere!
