Off to the Irish Countryside! (Sunday in Ireland)

We had our last breakfast in Dublin at Yum Yum's. We consider this "our place" since we ate there yesterday. I had porridge. Doesn't it look good?

Then it was time to head to our cottage in the countryside. First of all, we had to figure out how to get out of Dublin.
Still trying to figure out how to get out of Dublin. Note the THREE maps.

Eventually, we found our way to on the Lough Derg. On the way we passed many horses, cattle, and sheep. Sheep! They always elicited a happy squeal from me. They are so wooly!

Our cottage is amazing. There is a pub right next door and a lovely backyard. I can only imagine how beautiful it is in the summer.

After getting settled, we headed to the grocery store for provisions (lots of wine).

Back at the cottage, we ladies made dinner - well, Lea did most of the work - curry chicken and goat cheese and beet salad.

After two days of walking almost non-stop and eating out, it was nice to relax in our own place. We just hung out in the living room...

...and I finally got some knitting done.
