I've Had My First Guinness In Ireland
And so has Dora the Explorer.
Lea and Amit are traveling with Dora, taking pictures of her many adventures to share with her niece.
It has been an incredibly long two days. We left Newark last night about 11 p.m. on a horrible flight. Horrible because we were stuck sitting on a plane that slowly increased in temperature for an hour, and horrible because of Bob, the loud guy who talked for about half the flight. Even with my earplugs in I could hear him telling his buddy about how much money he is going to make, the women he has brought home from bars (women in Newark must have low standards), and how he is a legend in his own mind. Did I mention the constant swearing?
Finally, we arrived in Dublin and met up with Lea and Amit. We couldn't check in to the hotel until 2, so we checked our bags and got some food and Guinness. Lea and I did not want to carry our bags around like this anymore.
Then it was naptime before we headed to dinner and more Guinness and then to a soccer match. We walked around a bit and saw the River Liffey.
We have no idea who won the soccer match. Good fun though.
Then it was off to the pub for more Guinness. I think I sense a theme.
It's about 11:18 Dublin time right now, so I've been up with very little sleep since yesterday. I'm looking forward to a good night's sleep!
Tomorrow, more Ireland!
