Merry Christmas....

I heard a rumour that Santa Claus has been reading my blog, back through the archives, and is waiting to get to the picture of my dad's sweater. So, here it is again!


Speaking of my dad, he got his ear pierced! Yeah...I think I'll just call him Harrison.

I've got a fun weekend planned. G and I are going shopping tomorrow, and then I am going to see Avenue Q at the State Theatre. I'll tell ya all about it on Monday.

We'll leave off for the weekend with a picture of Zoey the Cat all curled up on the couch.

I like the sweater and the blog and look forward to future adventures. Just remember it was nothing personal, bus drivers have been passing people by for years, even before cell fones.

In the end, I couldn't resist the pull of thousands of suited Republicans in St. Paul and D and I headed downtown last night to check things out. Actually, that's a lie. What compelled me down there was my support of St. Paul business. The Pioneer Press reported yesterday on how dismal business was for some of the restaurants and shops around the convention. I figured, "Well, if the Republicans won't eat there, I WILL!" After work we headed to Cosetta's . As you can see...definite lack of Republicans. They were all outside on the street. I Need a New Word for "Perfect"

I just spent what can only be described as quite possibly one of the most perfect weekends of my life, thus far. I'm racking my brain trying to think of a weekend that has felt more "right" and I just can't. I think this was one of those rare life moments where everything comes together to create contentment. A perfect blend of good food, friendly strangers, physical and mental activity, and a person to travel with that makes you happy. David and I spent the weekend in Lanesboro, MN and thereabouts. We loaded up our bikes, and in my case, way too much other stuff and headed out of town. How is it that I can pack so light for a 10 day trip to Ireland, but when I head 2 hours south, I pack as though I am leaving home for an indefinite period of time?
